Mr. Bob's Newsletter: From the Founder’s Desk

Welcome to the very first edition of the Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge Newsletter.

What started back in 2007 as a simple act of helping a few individuals in need has grown into a powerful, community-driven movement. Today, Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge serves individuals and families across Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and surrounding counties—providing essential resources, restoring dignity, and offering hope where it’s needed most.

At the heart of everything we do is one simple message:

Do More.

Do more for others.
Do more for your community.
Do more when it matters most.

Because of our incredible volunteers, donors, partners, and our dedicated Youth Ambassador Program, we continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact. From clothing, hygiene essentials, and showers to programs like Fresh Start, we are helping people take real steps forward toward stability and independence.

This newsletter is our way of staying connected with you—our extended family. Inside, you’ll find:

  • Stories of impact

  • Volunteer and donor highlights

  • Upcoming events

  • Opportunities to get involved

None of this work happens alone. It happens because people like you choose to step in, show up, and make a difference.

Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for being part of this journey.

Together, we will continue to build something special—one act of kindness at a time.

With gratitude,
Bob Burmeister
Founder & President
