Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge is always looking to add volunteers to its team. We hope that anyone who is interested in volunteering has a passion for serving Milwaukee’s homeless community and believes in Mr. Bob’s Mission. A few volunteer opportunities are described below, but please contact us if there is a different way you’d like to participate in the Under the Bridge ministry.

Thursday Night Sorting at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin

Every Thursday night a group of volunteers sorts donated items received for the homeless. This is a critical part of Mr. Bob’s work, as it enables items to be well organized on Saturday mornings, so the men, women, and children we serve can quickly and easily find items they need in appropriate sizes. Sorting may also include assembling hygiene and care packs.

Saturday Mornings at Kosciuszko Park in Milwaukee

Every Saturday morning Mr. Bob and volunteers gather at Kosciuszko Park to serve the homeless community. This includes setting up coffee and snacks, moving items out of the Mr. Bob’s truck and organizing them for people to sort through, helping people find items they need, distributing care packs, and re-organizing and putting items back in the truck.

Please contact us if you’re interested in volunteering!
